Vampire:
the Masquerade Revised - WW2300
The V:tM core book is of course a necessity if you want to play the
game. This Revised edition is an improvement over previous releases in
almost every way. The two-page description of the Assamite clan still
places emphasis on the warrior caste, but it hints at the changes to
come in the revised clanbook.

Children
of the Night - WW2023
This book is basically a Who's Who of Vampire: the Masquerade. The
characters listed in this book range from Seraphs and Justicars to
lowly neonates. Quite a few Assamite characters are found within its
pages, among which are Al-Ashrad, and the first appearance of
Ur-Shulgi. Read his (its?) write-up, and shiver...

Clan
Novel: Assamite - WW11107
The eight book in the Clan Novel series, this novel tells the
story of Fatima Al-Faqadi and her continued rivalry with her lover,
the Lasombra Lucita. The book gives a rather outdated view of the
Assamite clan, focussing mainly on the warrior caste.

Veil
of Night - WW2832
This Dark Ages resource book provides us with a very thorough look
at (un)life in the Middle East of the 12th and 13th centuries. If you
want to understand the roots of the modern Assamites, this book is a
very good place to start.

Dark
Ages Clan Novel: Assamite - WW11206
The second book in the Dark Ages Clan Novel series, this fiction
book tells the story of Amala, a female Assamite warrior, and her
struggle with religion in the face of a Cainite Crusade. All three
Assamite castes are represented, and it is a very difficult book to
put down. Recommended.
